How to configure my email client (e.g. Outlook, Thunderbird)?

To configure your email client, you will need to set the following settings in your email client:

1. Username
2. Password
3. SMTP, POP3/IMAP Server Name and Port
4. Encryption Settings
5. Authentication for POP3/IMAP and SMTP Server

1. Username:
It is the full email address you are checking email for (e.g. info@yourdomain.com). If your email client cannot accept a @ symbol, you may replace this with a backslash (\)

2. Password:
As specified in your control panel. If you want to reset a password, go to cPanel home > Email Accounts

3. SMTP, POP3 / IMAP Server Name and Port

POP3 Port: 995
IMAP Port: 993
SMTP Port: 465

Outgoing Server Type: SMTP
Incoming Server Type: POP3 or IMAP

Incoming/Outgoing Server: This is your domain name (only yourdoamin.com, not www.yourdomain.com).

Note: You will need to install an SSL Certificate in order to use your domain name. Alternatively, you can use your server's hostname (sent in the welcome email).

4. Encryption Settings

Please use SSL.

5. Authentication for POP3/IMAP and SMTP Server
Authentication is required for IMAP, POP3, and SMTP. Make sure you set this setting accordingly.
