We are happy to announce that PHP 8.5 is now available with all hosting services. This feature is available to both existing and new customers.
PHP 8.5 introduces several key improvements and new features, offering a more robust and dynamic programming environment to developers. Users can also benefit from the latest security enhancements and fixes, reinforcing MechanicWeb's commitment to safeguarding user data while maintaining its leadership in PHP/MySQL performance.
Key Features and Improvements:
OPcache: OPcache is built into PHP 8.5. It is no longer an optional extension. This means it is enabled by default and cannot be enabled selectively.
max_memory_limit: New limit for maximum memory for a PHP process. Unlike memory_limit, max_memory_limit cannot be modified using ini_set.
