New PHP directives are now available in PHP Selector so that users can customize more PHP settings without using any .htaccess file. The following can now be set from cPanel/DirectAdmin > Select PHP Version > Options:

  • opcache.enable (PHP 8.5.0+ only. Use the Extensions interface for other PHP versions)
  • opcache.jit
  • opcache.jit_buffer_size
  • pcre.jit

opcache.enable: Since PHP 8.5, OPcache is now a built-in PHP extension. As a result, you can no longer disable the OPcache extension from the Extensions interface. It can only be disabled from the Options interface.
