We are happy to announce that Redis object cache is now available with all Shared, Semi Dedicated, Reseller Hosting, Managed VPS, Quasi Dedicated, and Managed Dedicated Server services.
Previously, Redis was available only with Managed VPS, Quasi Dedicated Server, Managed Dedicated Server, and DirectAdmin-based hosting.
Redis object cache enhances page load times for some websites by caching and reducing the number of database queries a website performs. It can be enabled independently or inside LiteSpeed Cache, a full-page cache that dramatically improves page load times.
Secure, Isolated Redis for Multi-user Environments
Traditional Redis is insecure when used on servers with multi-user environments and shared hosting servers, as one user can easily access and modify another user's data stored in Redis.
Our implementation of Redis comes with isolated per-user instances. Each user's Redis instance remains encapsulated and completely separate from other users' instances. One user cannot access or alter other users' Redis data, and one user's issues cannot impact another user's Redis instance, making it safe to use in multi-user and multi-website environments.
Redis is available to all existing and new customers with current packages in Los Angeles, Dallas (except Dallas 4), Germany, the United Kingdom, and Singapore. It will be available on Dallas 4 with the immediate next update.
Update (6 October 2024): Redis is now available on Dallas 4.
