How to order a dedicated IP?

You can order a dedicated IP from your Client Area:

  • Log into your Client Area.

  • Go to Services > View Available Addons.

  • Click "Order Now" next to "Dedicated IP".

Once the invoice is paid, our technicians will review the order and assign the IP addresses to your hosting packages. You will be notified via email.

Note:

  • A valid justification (e.g. a technical reason) is required to obtain dedicated IP addresses.

  • Only one dedicated IP address can be assigned for a single cPanel account. If you are a shared hosting client, you will need to get multiple packages to obtain multiple IP addresses.

  • We reserve the right to reclaim your IP if you use it for something other than the reason approved.

Justification

Requests are normally honored, but there are cases where an IP address will typically not be granted to conserve the resource and enforce responsible stewardship of the address. Below are some of the cases where a request would normally be denied:

  • SEO

  • You are not on a VPS/Quasi/Dedicated Server

  • You are not using an SSL certificate

  • Mail Servers

  • Name Servers (Unless required for a country domain)

  • MySQL Servers

  • You have very little actual web traffic

Do you need a dedicated IP?

Due to our server configuration, a dedicated IP address is not required to install SSL certificates or improve email deliverability.

We provide free SSL certificates and send all emails using thousands of high-reputation IPs. These services are included for free with all cPanel-based shared and reseller hosting packages, regardless of the IP address of your hosting package. Once your domain resolves to our servers, there is no difference between dedicated IP and non-dedicated IP accounts.

It is also not required to improve SEO or search results. Such theories do not have any proof and have been dispelled by Google's Matt Cutts.

However, if you like to use private SSL, you are required to have one dedicated IP to install private SSL.
