How to set up MX records

If you want to use a different email server, you will need to change the MX records & SPF records. Please follow the following walkthrough to modify these records:

01. Go to cPanel > Zone Editor
02. Click on Manage next to your domain name
03. Delete any TXT records that starts with "v=spf1". This is the SPF record for our servers. If you want to use a remote server for email, you will need to delete it.
04. Delete any default MX records
05. Click on Add Record
06. Enter yourdomainname.com followed by a dot [.] [yourdomain.com.] under Name
07. Choose record Type: MX
08. Set a Priority: 0 if this is the default MX record to be used
09. Enter the MX server name next to Destination
10. Click on Add Record

Repeat the steps 05 to 10 to add more MX records.
