How to enable and access SSH?

SSH remains disabled by default on all hosting accounts (excluding VPS and Dedicated Server). If you need SSH access, contact support to enable it for you.

Enable SSH Access

Open a support ticket to enable SSH access for your hosting account.

Reseller Hosting:

SSH needs to be enabled on a per cPanel/DirectAdmin account basis. Provide a list of usernames to enable SSH for your cPanel/DirectAdmin accounts.

VPS and Dedicated Server:

SSH is enabled by default for the root user.

Terminal

The Terminal interface in cPanel, WHM, and DirectAdmin allows you to access SSH without a key pair.

cPanel: Go to cPanel > Advanced > Terminal
WHM: Go to WHM > Server Configuration > Terminal

DirectAdmin: Go to DirectAdmin > User > System Info & Files > Terminal

*For WHM, you will need a VPS/Dedicated Server with root access.
