You will need to create a package in your WHM before creating a new hosting account. Every account that you set up will need a hosting package to simplify further cPanel accounts management process.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To Create a Package
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Go to WHM > Packages > Add a Package
- Set appropriate quotas in the Resources (storage, bandwidth, addon domains, etc.) section.
- Click on the Add button. Your package is now created.
Note: you may not select 'unlimited' for storage and bandwidth quota.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To Create a New cPanel Account
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Go to WHM > Account Functions > Create a New Account
- Type in the domain name in the Domain box (no www or http or spaces - just yourdomain.com).
- After typing in the domain name, hit TAB on your keyboard and it will automatically create a username.
- Enter a password for the account.
- Choose a Package: Select a hosting package that you created earlier
- Press the create button. This will give you a confirmation page presenting the newly created account details (you should save or print this for your records)
Please do not click on anything that you are not sure what it does. Please do not try to alter the WHM Theme from the selection box - fatal errors may occur.
